14 October 2025 – Karen Köhler presents “Spielen” at Literaturhaus

On Tuesday, 14 October, author Karen Köhler invites you to get moving and take action with her new book “Spielen”.

The book presentation will take place at 19:30 as an interactive Bookplay in the Anderer Salon of Literaturhaus Villa Clementine, Frankfurter Straße 1.

With her literary experiment, Karen Köhler encourages you to let go of everyday life and enter a play mode that can help ease the tensions of life’s seriousness. She doesn’t just talk about her own love of gaming, the thrill of playing and the competitive spirit, but actively involves the audience in the creative process, opening up new perspectives on literature. Whether you’re an experienced player or a quiet reader – everyone is invited to share their thoughts and emotions and become part of this literary game.

Karen Köhler was born in Hamburg in 1974 and writes plays, screenplays, radio plays, essays, short stories and novels. Her novel “Miroloi” was nominated for the Deutscher Buchpreis.

Advance tickets are available for 10 euros, reduced 7 euros, plus booking fee, from the Tourist-Information Wiesbaden, Marktplatz 1, telephone (0611) 1729930; online via the Literaturhaus website. At the door on the evening, admission is 11 euros, reduced 9 euros.
